Another wet day...
...on Greyfriars Bridge, Shrewsbury.
Greyfriars Bridge was build in 1880 and joined Coleham (a separate village at that time) with Shrewsbury. It is one of the four footbridges over the river in Shrewsbury and is located not far upstream from the English Bridge. As I've already blipped on 22nd April an image including the bridge (my very first blip) I still have two more to do bridges before my mission is complete. Interestingly my previous blip featured rain and people with an umbrella. Perhaps if I steer clear it'll stop raining!
Thoughts of an optimistic pessimist:
Tomorrow I'm off with Bruce to meet up with the Dog Whisperer and his dogs for a pleasant walk on Cannock Chase. (Hoping for the best.)
More rain is forecast and that means a soggy picnic plus a muddy, smelly dog to be bathed when I get back home. (Expecting the worst.)
Homer J Simpson's words of wisdom:
"Do you like Pina Colonics & getting caught in the rain?"
