Canadian Indoor Rowing Competition CIRCs
Today was the day, our rowing club was well represented both with competitors and volunteer umpires. Overall there were hundreds of competitors (? 800), I believe it was a record number! The 1st group went at 8:30 and every 15 minutes 20-35 people rowed at one time, by age group, sex and lightweight or heavyweight. The eldest competitor today was 84 and he broke his record by 3 seconds! Talk about an inspiration. Other than that, a quiet day, my sweetie needed to rest his legs. Watched young son win his UK hockey (he had 3 points) and admired eldest son's men's league hockey team photo, they look amazing and have a great sponsor! Whipped up homemade granola and power peanut butter balls for the trip to UK on Friday. I will be home holding the fort but my men are all going and will enjoy this food made with love. Also worked on the never ending sweater, re-worked the collar and went out to buy buttons. Should be able to blip it tomorrow! Cozying up for Superbowl football now (I am really only here for the half time show).
