'Spring Carpet'

What a mixed day it's been....woke up to sunshine, then dark skies and heavy rain...then sunshine! We decided to drive over to Wakehurst again....we had to renew our annual car parking ticket anyway.

On arrival, the sun was shining and I was able to get some nice pics of the Cyclamen and Snowdrops...Primroses are on their way too. We had a long walk....then the dark clouds gathered again......we just got to the restaurant in time. More torrential rain! I didn't mention that the car parks were absolutely full....and they had run out of scones. I had carrot cake with my coffee....but the cupboard was bare! Everyone had the same idea today....to get some fresh air.

It's going to be a rough night...the next storm has started!
