Föhn ( Germering and the Zugspitze)

Today we had "föhn" .
 A föhn or foehn is a type of dry, warm, down-slope wind that occurs in the lee (downwind side) of a mountain range.
On a day with föhn we have an excellent view from Germering to the Alps.
The Alps are about 100 km from Germering.
