Life isn't always

rosie. Had some devastating news last night, which puts life into perspective. The elderley couple who own No 12 have 2 sons, the sons and families holiday every year and we have seen the kids growing up. One of the sons is out at the moment with his family, speaking to him last night about when his brother is coming out and he told us that his brother was involved in a serious RTA about 8 weeks ago, on his way to work. He was riding his motorbike and the sun momentarily blinded him and he crashed into a car, he has lost his left leg and his right arm has been rendered useless with nerve damage. However, on the positive side he has no brain damage. Recovery will be long and slow, but as a family they are very upbeat. He told us that his brothers kids are coming out next week, followed a week later by the grandparents, they wanted to make sure that the kids had their usual summer holiday.

I hope next year we will see them all out together as a family.

So, live life to the full, this is not a rehearsal, as you never know what tomorrow may bring.
