Living in the sticks does not deprive us of fine music. We had a lovely concert this afternoon in our local minitheatre. Bach and Handel played on harpsichord and violin. The former was made in 1979 and is a close copy of a Flemish instrument of 1608. The original is in the University of Edinburgh collection. Its profile can be seen ias an extra. The violin was made in 1767.
This is a replacement for a blip I put in earlier. I had hoped to go back to that and put these new shots in as extras but I found it was not possible. Moral - don't blip too soon.
