When in doubt…

I couldn't get out today, but I'm seriously trying to blip more often, so I took a 70-300mm lens which my brother has given me — to use myself or pass on to some more worthy person, and had a go with it. I looked around the house for something to try it on. I haven't used a long focus lens for true macro before, and the best I could get focus with this was at 155mm. By the way, don't tell Helen I found a dead spider in the bedroom!
