Golden path

Bright start but the pink tinge (the camera has made it a bit pinker than it was) gives an indication of what was in store for us - rain and sleet by late morning.
Just before the sun came above the horizon there was a golden path leading from it.
Had a lazy afternoon but must think about food soon.
