Closing In

Me and Andy played golf this morning despite the pretty bad conditions underfoot. While it was windy we got away with just a couple of short showers thankfully. It was the pairs knockout competition and we were beaten to a place in the quarter-final by just one hole. Never mind, all being well there's always next year and our opposition did deserve the victory.

I took a diversion on the way home and captured this interesting old tree, which has appeared in one previous blip. The weather was closing in fast though and I could see the Severn Bridge only for a few moments before it was shrouded in rain. I've added an extra as one of the field's occupants came over to see what I was up to.
