Snowdrop

The snowdrops are finally emerging in the churchyard, and there is a sense the Spring is around the corner. Which meant it was a good opportunity to try my new macro lens! This was hand held, manual focus, f11, on a 105mm lens and the ISO on auto. I did consider taking the exposure down a notch or two, but I like the idea of blurry churchness in the background, rather than going for a plainer dark. 

On other news, my computer has died. The battery has swollen to the point that the trackpad has cracked, and the mouse will not click - hence I'm using an antique version today, in the hope that mind will respond to resuscitation (removing the battery).
