And now for something completely different

I don't usually meddle with my photos much, if at all. But I've been musing for days on how to post a swimming pool blip that isn't boring. This is the result of a pleasant half hour spent playing with a variety of the effects in PicMonkey and Photoshop Elements. It was fun using a very basic photo that was just lines and colours. I made several versions I liked, including a stained glass one, but in the end I picked this one (the "twirl" effect) for its silliness.

The water is up to 24C now! Almost too warm for me. But very pleasant all the same -- 22 lengths this morning.
