Flying canoe valant

Fantastic winter festival in Edmonton - down in the mill creek winter trails - Metis and French Canadian folk stories, dancing, flying canoes, banak bread cooked over fires.... Lots of fun for me and my nephews and my sister in law. Hard to pick a photo that captures the event because there are lanterns, tee pees, fires, howling wolf characters, and flying canoes looking for the city of light.
