Female Downy Woodpecker

Here is another of my backyard birds.
I never noticed before how downy these guys are at the base of the beak. I went on the internet and found out that they are the smallest woodpecker at about 5 inches. They look very similar to the Hairy Woodpecker, but they are much smaller. They also have bars of black across the white bottom of their tail; I picked this photo because you can see those black bars under his tail.
We drove over to the beach tonight; it is supposed to be pleasant over here for a couple days. Hopefully, we have a sunset tomorrow tonight; tonight's sky was quite dull.
