Pied Shag......relaxing

We were up early and out fishing in the Bay for snapper.....all we caught was a large spotty which we threw back! ... Instead it was fun to wander on the boulder bank snapping the birds,including these attractive pied cormorant,a protected native.....they let me come very close.
Afterwards we boated to Haul a Shore island for a picnic lunch....but no fish stories!!  a relaxing Sunday for us ...like the birds
