ENID BLYTON

A week or so ago Mrs P's mother asked her if she ever saw any Enid Blyton books to get them for her - she used to read them to the children when they were young. Down in town this morning she (Mrs P not her mother) was looking round TKMax and came across a whole pack of them. So they're off to mother now. Some of the titles look vaguely familiar. I've read that EB was not a very nice person but she certainly wrote good books for children of a certain age - I remember being enthralled. And of course the books are banned in a few schools and libraries by overly zealous politically correct educationists/librarians.
