Day 37 of 366 - Drapers Hall!
Today's image is a view of the Grade II* listed Drapers Hall. Built between 1831 and 1832, the building is situated next to St Mary's Guildhall and opposite the ruins of the Old Cathedral in Coventry. The building has been mainly unoccupied for quite a few years, it is in need of restoration. There are plans in the works to restore the building to it's former glory and also maybe turn it into a centre for performing arts. It is said that it will also become the base for the national collection of Sheet Music. It is also hoped that the Drapers Guild will be part using the building as their base. The guild were the original owners of the building.
The photo was taken using the App VividHDR on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Lightroom to edit the image. I first Straightened the image then added some sharpening and Noise Reduction. I then applied the Dynamic colour preset and boosted the exposure a little. Next I used the app PhotoCopier to apply the look and texture similar to the painting Nikolaus Kratzer by Holbein. I then used DistressedFX to add the Egret overlay and the Lade texture. I then flattened the image and applied the Stirred overlay and the Vanilla texture. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Drama FX, the Canvas texture, a large dark Vignette and the Charcoal frame.
