Chain Home tower

This tower is just behind our house.  It has featured in several blips, both my own and my sisters.

It is one of what would have been a group of 4, part of the original Chain Home Radar system, which were built along the east and south east coast of the UK in the late 1930s.

It's been a very grey day today.  My photos were pretty monochrome anyway, so I decided to play with the monochrome function on the camera.

W is much better.  He's currently hunkered down, watching the rugby.
