Never Rains It Pours

This entry is a bit of a rant so don't read on if you're not in the mood to listen to a moan.

Returned a reply slip to Aiden's Dance studio today to say she'll take her Grade 6 exam in March. That cost me £47 and she will need new ballet shoes and possibly tights by then too. The current ballet shoes are definitely in no fit state to do an exam in, so that will be more expense.

If that wasn't enough spending for one day, when I got home there was a letter from Parcel Force asking for £37 for Import VAT on a parcel my Aunt has sent Aiden for a belated birthday gift!! This is after my Aunt has spent $80 on postage.
