Gum Leaves In the Late Afternoon

The big furnace starts tomorrow and although it hit 35 today it did cool down in the late afternoon and we had a walk.

I loved these gum leaves with their red stems in the sun and my extra is a shot of the blossoms from this tree. Looks like each flower has a resident ant drunk on the nectar! :o)

Have been experiencing trouble with my washing machine for some time now and just managing to keep it going week after week. Today it gave up the ghost and luckily I caught it just in time as it was about to flood over as the water didn't turn off as it was filling aarrghh!!!

I've been out and purchased a brand new front loader. It won't be delivered until next Saturday as I have to get the stairway cleared during the week so they can get it up the three flights. They will install it and take away the old one!! I can't wait to use it!!! ::o))
