Fieldend summer party

Every year in Fieldend we have a summer party. In the day it's all about the kids, bouncy castle, face painting, three legged racing...... And fancy dress. A prize is awarded to the best homemade costume. Zoe won a prize for the third year running. Go Zoe!!!

The evening is an adult party. Everyone brings a dish and booze. It's always fun and the neighbours get a chance to catch up. It normally ends up in a drunken haze. This year I organised a disco, set it all up in a massive tent with flashing lights and pa system. I was lucky as some friends I met at Max's birthday let us borrow some brilliant lighting.

It really was a great day/night and my last as a fieldender. All going well we should be in the new house by September.
