Irises

"Don't even think about dead-heading those irises!" I said a couple of weeks ago.

I bought the pot of Iris reticulata when they were still in tight bud. So many opportunities to blip the stages of the flowers emerging. But, did I? 

So now, the flowers are dead, but when did that ever stop my blipping them? The good thing is that these little former beauties aren't destined for the compost bin, they are in a pot and will be planted outdoors.

I've always loved irises!
