"It's too windy" ........

..... someone exclaimed as I was approaching a rather impressive inflated golden dragon in Exchange Square. 

And so one of the dragon's keepers pulled the plug, and by the time I got within blipping distance he (I am assuming it is a he, what do I know about dragons) was looking deflated. He must have had a difficult day. Puff the Magic Dragon he is not.

An extra or two - one of loads I took of a fantastic light display across St Anne's Church. Really well done, in that it used the structure to good effect, and with remarkable precision.

The Chinese Year of the Monkey is being celebrated in Manchester in style.
