Tonsillectomy - over and done ....

Having a snack - toast, vegemite and water was what Lunae ordered shortly after returning from the theatre. She has just had a tonsillectomy and was up and about (in bed!) not feeling the way we did when we had the same operation, many years ago.
Nowadays there are more effective ways to have this procedure performed, one such called coblation.

There is slight discomfort, as it remains an invasive procedure, but in her case, it seems that she went through the experience without any hitches.
