A Real Gentleman's Send Off

It was our old headmaster's funeral today which brought so many old friends, former colleagues and "old" alumni together in the true spirit of remembrance. How many lives PP touched with his mix of strictness and gentleness, we will never really know. However the family had an excellent flavour of the extent of appreciation for PP, from the wonderful addresses given by so many people; a most heart warming occasion. As always, many people commented, "Why don't we all get together when not at a funeral?"
