Katie

Today's model was Katie, who spins beautifully and is a patient teacher. We  spent a happy morning talking, drinking coffee, looking at photos and books and wool. Then we got down to photographs. I wanted to picture Katie surrounded by all her interesting things, preparing her wool for spinning. Although she loves colour, I made this image a mono, because it better captured the light on her face and hands.
