The enemy of my enemy is my friend?

I HATE umbrellas - almost to the point of being phobic of them. I've always said I'd rather be wet than use one of the evil things which is why I own so many hats and hoods.

BUT this "summer" is driving me mad and I am sick of being wet so I have turned to my nemesis in the vague hope that I may not spend the whole day soggy.
