Far from the Madding Crowd ...

Had a fabulous day at Event City, near Manchester's Trafford Centre.
It was the first day of the Hobbycraft Stitch and Craft Show.
It was a much better show than the previous two I've been to there, with a huge range of crafting, sewing, card making and patchwork ideas on display.
Possibly we enjoyed it more because of the Complementary tickets, which was very nice!
Also on display were some of the costumes from the recent remake of the film, Far From The Madding Crowd, which starred Carey Mulligan. The version which starred Julie Christie and Alan Bates is one of my all-time favourite films.
