Textured Wood for Abstract Thursday

I catnapped through last night and am sleepwalking through today.  I was going to swing the vac around this morning but soon decided against and did a little catching up on the holiday ironing instead.  Still a mountain to go.

Not inspired, but this is a jazzed up piece of wood that was light enough to be carried home from the thrift.  I like the saw marks and variety of colours.  Thanks to youoregon1 for hosting Abstract Thursday.

The extra is one I intended posting yesterday and has me in stitches every time I look at it.  A very bad picture of my friend being photobombed by an unknown person.
