Spiraling
7.0C with a bright start but soon clouding over. Rain forecast for the afternoon. Zephyr.
Maeve and I went for a walk before lunch to avoid the forecast rain. Radio 2 then Radio Scotland (First Minister's questions) on the Nano . We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The farmer was ploughing in the field to the left of the track. The track was muddier today.
We walked along the cycle path and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach at Westhaven. The tide was well out. We made a quick visit to the upturned dinghies just along from the car park to get a few shots for Abstract Thursday. This image was created by combining two shots, each of a bump/break/dent in the paintwork of one of the dinghies. I particularly like the dent with the spiraling line. Colours have been created, altered, and rearranged in the interests of a pleasing result.
We crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
