The Spring has sprung

Spent the morning in the Powerscourt Gardens in Wicklow with Fluffikens and we were pleasantly surprised by the dearth of fellow walkers making the framing of photographs an easy ask. So hot coffees in hand we wandered a few hours taking in the abundance of bulbs well free of the earth and heading for the skies. This buttercup seemed to be making a statement of it's own....

We were originally heading for Lough Dan to watch the Vikings show being filmed but with Penny Dreadful also being filmed locally we determined a more peaceful and productive day in the gardens made more sense and with Fluffikens on a deadline it was the right choice. Having said that we managed to get back with seven minutes to spare.....Just saying
