Ruffled feathers

A hectic weekend with a very domestic tone (aside from working Saturday) Was told to rest and thought I'd catch up on some chores.
Rest!... exploding vacuum cleaners and a washing machine wreaking havoc - meant forgetting to Blip yesterday.

Thank you for all thoughtful comments during mouth pain saga, much appreciated.
Also appreciated Alexander Fleming...Penicillin worked like magic.

Not so much gratitude to my dentist...lets call him, um, Mr Riley...
after the life he leads...
(it seems he's either on the golf course or in the Bahamas)
Nothing wrong with that but an occasional look in to the surgery might be helpful for those of us left waiting for appointments - in agony!

Bird feeders were busy today. Chaffinches and Bluetits mostly.

Know this because the adventure in things flatpack continues.
That entailed being in the room that looks over the birdfeeders most of the day. Not that I could get a decent shot as furniture is all piled up to make space to build this thing in, blocking clear access to windows.

It may have been a tad over ambitious to attempt a wardrobe as first foray into flatpacking!
The estimated 3-4 hours is already at approx 7-8 hours - with about the same again to complete it (at least an hour spent just unpacking the boxes)

Still, have learned what a "Metal Cam" is...how exciting is that!

So far everything seems to be aligned but with six doors to be hung there's lot of potential for it all to go skew wiff.
(a) - what was I thinking)
b) don't have time for this...

Since flatblacking may be close to the Blues but is defintely not food for the soul,
