Clever Girl

This morning, my lovely girl impressed me by typing her brother's name on my laptop. She is very good with numbers and can read them as well as counting (backwards too), so we started on letters a few weeks ago and whilst she has been able to spell her own name for a while, her recognition of letters has really come on. And it must be confusing with the keyboard being in capitals!

We made it to Toddlers this morning for an hour before heading to my friend L's for lunch along with C & K and J & baby L. L's kids were there too and H had great fun playing with L who is a few of years older than her. As usual, I don't think there was a time when all of the babies were awake at the same time. It was a nice lunch and chat - a lovely way to relax into the weekend.

Hubby was out this evening with his friend M, playing pool and having a drink. Judging by the state of him when he got home, I think he may have a hangover tomorrow!
