Kodak Pony II
This US Kodak camera, produced from 1957 to 1962 and sold for $26.75 USD, has a mainly Bakelite body, and a very smart leather ever-ready case. The lens is reported to be of better quality than those fitted to Brownie cameras, but the shutter has a single speed. The diaphraghm is adjustable, with four blades creating a diamond-shaped aperture, and the settings are given in an exposure value (EV) scale of 9.5 - 15. There's a slot on the back where you could insert a cut-out from your film box giving the EV for different scenes (bright sun, open shade etc). The focus adjusts from 2.5 feet to 50 and infinity. There's no rangefinder or light meter. It's in nice condition, and seems to be in working order.
But it's not a patch on the Zeiss Ikon Contina that I posted yesterday.
