So difficult for me to get to you
It has now been many a year.
 
High Up on your 909 feet crest
Your views are amazing
Your beech clump simply the best.
 
The winds today were perishing
As they whip unabated around your perimeter

Storms brewing, light beams dancing
Dog walkers.

The 360 degree lofty views
From the distant glint of Salisbury cathedral's spire
Fifteen miles to the east; 
to the south the Needles, Isle of Wight 
and the cranes of Southampton docks -
The Purbecks and beyond.
 
The Marlborough Downs, even a White Horse!
The Mendips and Glastonbury Tor
And Blackmoor Vale too
Oh Win Green!

Have I so missed you! 

As you can see, another day of high up most enjoyable and breaking challenges - more stupidly lengthy bus journeys, wondering why on Earth I do it - walking another ten miles - but it is SO satisfying when you get the shots you want, the wonderful variable weather you want - and to be able to share this with others!
