Beautiful sunset

So this evening I had to whip to the supermarket to get cat food, and on the way there was the most stunning sunset. I umm-ed and ahh-ed about whether I should pull over and take my photo but reasoned I would only be another few minutes at the shop and could take my photo from a nearby hilltop. As I left the supermarket the sky was an amazing pink and orange. And when I got to the hilltop there was nothing. Colours had sunk and nothing spectacular remained.

So this is a photo of the steam from the kapuni gas plant against a corker of a clear sky. Not my sunset. But my plan is to be on my hilltop by 830pm tomorrow...
