Cool Clear Water

It was hot today.  Horribly horribly hot.  

Of course it was.  It's in the unwritten rules that the day students return to school from the summer holidays is the hottest day of the season so far.

I had to make a bit of a detour on my way home as I had to deliver some photos to a friend.  Well it was sort of a detour, I live 2 minutes drive straight down the road from work.  My friend lives 15km away in a different direction!

On the way back I stopped at a wee creek.  I thought seeing and hearing the burbling water might make me feel cooler.  It didn't.
