Strawberry Bonbons

I took Murron and Rachael to Dirleton Castle. I always like to see the garden when the plants are in bloom. Nick tagged along too, but he was like a bear with a sore head. He is still unwell and a little dark cloud of worry has begun to follow him. I tried to be upbeat, but it didn't really work. The girls scampered about and chatted to me about school and boys. The general opinion seemed to be that boys can just about be tolerated now. In very small doses. It's an improvement.

Afterwards we stopped at the sweet shop in Gullane and bought strawberry bonbons and toffees :)
