Bewick's Wren

I haven't seen one of these for awhile, so he has to be the Blip for today.  The extra is him looking at me. I love his face coloring.

We are feeling grateful that we didn't hesitate, but went to visit Husband's brother as soon as possible when he started to have additional health issue a couple weeks ago.  When we left him last week, he seemed to be on the road to a longer life, but today he had a turn for the worst and passed away this morning. Mixed feelings: He no longer is suffering, but my husband will miss their weekly phone calls. Death is just part the journey all have to pass through someday. The loss is ours, not my brother-in-law's.
