Mini me adventure
I was at first aid training today at Bracknell college. Was quite funny sitting in our normal meeting conference room, all with bandages on our arms, dummies waiting for CPR and lying in the recovery position on the floor!
Back in April when I took my photography class on location, one of my students fell and cut his head. I had the first aid kit with me, but didn't feel confident using it. Now, I feel confident in delivering first aid, CPR, treating burns, cuts and putting people in the recovery position. It was all very simple when you know how, and really feel that it should be taught in schools and workplaces! It saves lives. Did you know that kids can move fully grown adults too if taught correctly?! Incredible.
After college, I had what I thought was a flat battery, but thankfully I was parked in the college car park, next door to our church, where I was kept company by one of the lovely ladies on reception and one of the church team came to have a look at the car - and worked! Thank you if reading this!
Tonight has been a chilled out one and sorting office again. Mini me is settling into the office well in her Canon lens pen pot! Ahhh theres no place like home!
