Derwentwater

Day 2 at LPH saw a trip over to Brother's Water.  A good half the day was spent around the lake, waiting for the light to be right.

A return via Glenridding (the scene by the river was complete devastation), Aira Force waterfall then finally via Latrigg Fell.

Part of the road up had been re- tarmacaded, but the last little bit was still full of (huge) potholes.  The walk up to the top from the car park was very blowey with gale force winds screaming through.  The view with the sun setting was spectacular though.

Tomorrow sounds like it could be Wastwater.
