Started the day with a walk on the beach alone. Though about how we come into the world alone, albeit to many happy receivers! And how we must be able to tolerate our aloneness at times. Did a little looking back (in thought and in blip photo) and a lot of looking forward. I'm very excited to be 50, and to what is going to unfold in the next decade. Immense gratitude to the people who helped get me here - I couldn't have done it without them. 50 feels pretty good!
