Tiger Moth

I bought this pop up card for my Dad on Saturday, at Altrincham Market. Made in Hanoi, of all places.

I think he will like it (it will be going tomorrow). He is a huge fan of the Tiger Moth. When he was growing up in the 1930's they were a common sight over his part of Hertfordshire. Geoffrey de Havilland had his base at Hatfield, not far away, and he remembers a relative who  worked at the factory and had a propellor hanging on the wall at home. For Dad's 80th birthday 10 years ago we got him a flight on a Tiger Moth at IWM Duxford. He had fun.

This is also fitting for another reason - just booked flights this evening, although not in a bi-plane !
