Martha 's Iced Gems

A splendid day today: what could be better than eating biscuits handmade by the fair hands of Great British Bake Off 2014's Martha! A special event "Takes the Biscuit " part of an arts project Walking Words in Reading focusing on the town's heritage of biscuit making.
Fascinating facts like Huntley & Palmer had their own fire brigade and that their factory was at one time the largest in the world. Martha recreated some Huntley and Palmer classics...iced gems, ginger nuts, Vienna whirls and ever such nice Nice biscuits.
