Tay Rail Bridge
7.4C bright and sunny. Wind to 37 mph with gusts to 54 mph. Gusts consistently above 60 mph through the night with 70 mph recorded around midnight. Henry was a noisy fellow !
Apothecary7's day off. We went into Dundee (2 cars), dropped Apothecary7's car off at the dealer's to have a cable which was hanging below the car re clipped and an issue with the auto headlights looked at, then had tea/coffee and croissants in M&S cafe, and bought a few groceries. On the way round to M&S we stopped at a little car park on Riverside Drive and I took advantage of the early bright light to get a shot of the Tay Rail Bridge.
Back home and the changes continued in Apothecary7's studio. The art materials and stored artworks have never looked so tidy. Studio/bedroom clear out complete. Our attention will now turn to the myriad of books in boxes in the loft and over the next few weeks I think charity shops will be feeling better stocked and our library will be trimmer and better stored.
After lunch we took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at the farm and went down the track to the shore road. The wind and gusts still felt strong and very cold. The track wasn't muddy today. We walked along the cycle path then turned right and came up the road to the shore to get home.
We went back into Dundee in my car and Apothecary7 picked up her car from the dealer. Cable re clipped, and a new sensor will be required to fix the other issue which oddly also involves the auto tailgate wiper. The warranty will cover it all. The car will be booked in for Apoethecary7's next day off and we think a service (for which we have a contract) might as well be done at the same time. Another busy day.
