I heard quite a clatter coming from the living room. There was Furbie , trying to demolish the blind and flipping the cord. She has such a look of innocence !

A lovely day in Lichfield. A really fascinating lecture about the Elgin Marbles (with lots of new information presented in a very entertaining style.) And then the bus back.

The bus was very late and it was freezing. A sweet little lady sounded off, "I hope he has a puncture and that when he gets home, his dinner is burned." I wouldn't like to incur her wrath.
