Lunch with a guard dog.

I happened to come home at lunchtime to find a forgotten school laptop still on charge.
Whilst working on my popularity ratings as "Mum for President" (truly, why else do we knock ourselves out for our families? ?) I dropped off said lap top and then proceeded to the riverside for an impromptu picnic with the dog.
This is him listening to the sounds of people advancing along the path towards our little river landing. He couldn't decide whether to stick close to me and watch, or advance the length of his retractable lead to check out the strangers.

It was a lovely spot and something I think I should do more often. My canine companion enjoyed it too.
