The good burghers of Leith have got sooooo fed up with the windy, cold wintery weather that they petitioned (successfully) for a sun machine.
Yesterday the portal at North Junction Street was doing a brisk trade as depressed Leithers beat a path to the newly installed machine to combat their S.A.D. with a quick blast of sunshine before heading round the corner to the party bench to cheer themselves up some more.
A day out visiting; an uplifting day (probably endorphin fuelled after Sunday) and a decent dinner of curry and cauliflower tortilla / nan before finally beating a retreat into Hurricane Henry. Dundas St with simultaneous cross winds and head winds was fun..
