Mt Cook & Tasman River

I biked from the Mt Cook Station gates up to the Tasman Point today, along the 'Alps to Ocean' cycle trail - A2O. It gave me amazing views of Mt Cook, and the clouds spilling over Mt Sefton from the West Coast. There weren't many places I could get a close view of the Tasman River - I had to leave my bike and walk a wee way to get this image. It was 31°C so I was glad to find shelter under a matagouri bush for my lunch stop! My friends didn't make it all the way up to the car park so I was riding on my own. A fantastic day! Home tomorrow.
