Going to Grasse

Escaping from the threat of imminent storm Henry, I flew to Provence today for the launch drive of the new fourth generation Kia Sorento. Bright sunshine accompanied our arrival, but cloud cover quickly scudded in to remind us that this may be the Côte d'Azur, but it is also winter.

Our hotel is up in the hills behind Nice, near the fabulous historic hilltop village of St Paul de Vence.

It's only a quick trip. Back to UK tomorrow. Hope Henry hasn't lingered, or it may be a bumpy landing!
