Sheep

The field across the road is currently being used to store sheep.  Generally the field is empty, but we had sheep here this time last year - I suspect they are last year's lambs, waiting for their final trip to the abattoir.

The hedge down the left of the picture borders our road, and there is currently a planning application to build 15 houses along the side of the road.  There are already houses all along the other side of the road - mainly one storey, just a couple of 2 storey.  There are many local objectors, and some supporters - there will of course be some social housing.  We have not decided.
